The big paper used to belong to Oldest Son, so there are some interesting works of art for Jonge to color on.
This one is a self portrait.
The untrained eye might miss it, but Jonge has actually written the names of everyone he knows on this piece of art.
He is not a fan of 'white space' so works very diligently to fill in all of the page.
Today we worked on pronouncing the 'f' sound. He cannot say it.
In the picture to the left, you will notice 'bookballs'.
'Bookball' is his favorite sport. Pake takes him down the block to watch the team practice.
Sometimes they make it all the way down. Sometimes, Jonge feels the need to sit in puddles, or load up his pockets with rocks. Every time they stop to talk to the very large, VERY creepy spider that lives over our door. Jonge calls him 'pi-lou' although lately it's been more like 'thpy-lour'. Long after he can say it correctly, THGGM and I will be saying good-bye to the 'pi-lou' with a slight catch in our voices.

I'm sure if our little guys had any time to spend together, between the two of them they'd keep us ol' grannies hopping. I still haven't tried Dylan on crayons yet. I'm almost afraid to, ha!
