Quick Update

My mom spent last night in the hospital. I am on my way up there this morning, where we will meet with the hospital social worker who will work with us in finding a nursing home for her today.

My parents will have been married sixty years on January 1st.

You can imagine that this is not an easy time.

Please pray.

I'm praying for you Judy. This is really a hard time for you - but in some ways might be better for your dad - it will free him up to visit her and he can concentrate on her and not all the logistics of trying to figure out how to keep her safe.

God's blessings on you right now.

Willa

There are silver linings in every cloud and now, with your mom hospitalized, maybe this is God's way of helping you all find the right answers in caring for your mom. I know the social workers were wonderful in helping us find a place for my Dad...they have the resources that everyday people like us don't have or don't know how to find. May God keep you cradled right in the palm of His hand, Judy...

Just want you too know that I came over here for a visit.

Thinking of you and hoping that at some level you are able to experience the peace that passes all understanding.
