Bye-Bye Thrift Shopping

So, I went thrift shopping tonight. For about 15 minutes. I bought a cute little blanket for Famke and nine paper bells for myself. Now I am done until March. Except for my bonus leap year day.
I had a low disk space warning on my computer tonight, so I deleted what I thought were unnecessary files.
What I actually deleted was Internet Explorer.
It took awhile to re-install.

So while I waited I made a paper doll of myself. And some other person, whom I do not know. She looks nice though, doesn't she?

It's a step above yesterday, which was the day I wrote on rocks.
This has been a rough January.
I'm staying up to welcome in February.
I have already flipped the calendar in joyful anticipation.

I'm all about February at this point, too - once we get past this foot of snow that has fallen overnight.....

This means nothing, really, but if my parents were still alive it'd be their 62nd anniversary today. At least yours are still with you, Judy, even tho they're getting so frail. But once they're gone, they're gone forever. One doesn't realize how FINAL that is 'til it happens, either. I once deleted MSN Messenger because I never 'chatted' on IM anymore, not knowing it had everything to do with email, blah, blah blah. I had to get live phone tech help to get THAT back on. Nightmare, but what's a techie dinosaur know, eh?! Oh well. We win some, we lose some. If we're lucky, we can get them back, hahaha!
