Today Jonge had a chance to show me his great new play room! His mommy and daddy have been very busy fixing up a room on the main floor for him to play and be creative.
His daddy built the colorful shelves and table. A door was removed from a small closet for bookshelves.

He is enjoying his work bench in his playroom just as much as his daddy enjoys having a work bench in his basement!
This lovely view is out the window in the playroom.
How can you not be inspired to be creative with a view like this?!

This looks like my living room and dining room, ha! We've come to the conclusion in our small house that the grandkids' stuff will rule 'til this phase is over. I used to be so crazy about picking it up at the end of the day. Now we just kind of push it out of the way and let it go at that. As long as we can get across the floors without breaking our necks thru the evening, that's all that's important to me any more. I guess I'm learning what's important and what isn't, ya know?! Gotta conserve energy somewhere!!!
