Room to Play in the Play Room

Today Jonge had a chance to show me his great new play room! His mommy and daddy have been very busy fixing up a room on the main floor for him to play and be creative.

His daddy built the colorful shelves and table. A door was removed from a small closet for bookshelves. Jonge and mommy made the canvas painting.

New purchased shelving keeps everything organized. Jonge likes to have his belongings organized.

He is enjoying his work bench in his playroom just as much as his daddy enjoys having a work bench in his basement!

This lovely view is out the window in the playroom.

How can you not be inspired to be creative with a view like this?!

Daughter's Birthday

We had a birthday party here tonight. It felt GOOD to celebrate! Although, most of the celebrating was done by Jonge. His daddy had to work both jobs today, but he sent flowers and a balloon!

Jonge enjoyed all of it! But, especially the balloons and the birthday dessert that Pake made. It was a 'moe nummy!' dessert.

Once the dessert kicked in, Jonge was REALLY ready to party. He staged a balloon parade and ran through the house with Pake and Oldest Son, whom he calls "Belly". He wore them out. We saved some of the 'moe nummy' dessert for his daddy.

Daughter is one quarter of a century old. I can hardly believe it.

Fourteen Month Old Grandpa

Can you believe it?

THGGM has been a grandpa for fourteen months today.

I guess that means Baby Boy must be fourteen months old today too.

Where does the time go?

Daughter had her first appointment with the OB she will be seeing for this pregnancy.

Everything is going very well, for which we thank God.

In a month she will have another ultrasound.

She and Son-in-law are VERY excited to find out who this little someone will be.

Grandpa and I are a teensy bit excited, too!

Oldest Son and Baby Boy

Baby Boy's Uncle is visiting this weekend.

Baby Boy hasn't seen him since Christmas Day.

They've had much catching up to do.

They are doing all of their favorite things together.

Great Thursday!

Today, Baby Boy saw a blue car turn into the drive way.

He watched closely, and when he saw his great grandma and grandpa get out of the car, he squealed with delight! He squealed and pointed at them as they walked up the steps.

When they saw him through the window and waved at him, I thought he was going to faint from the pure joy of it all.

He adores them! They get the same squeal he gives when he sees a banana. You just can't get better than that from him!
