Famke had a wonderful time celebrating her first birthday (which was yesterday) with a party today!
The cute little ladybug cupcakes her mommy made were a big hit!
At times she looked like a princess holding court.
She's just crazy about all of her family.

Although, she does seem to wish that she had some cousins who were not dogs. But, you just cannot ask for cousins for your birthday.

Well! Happy Birthday to little A! Goodness, Judy...it seems like yesterday that she was born. Maybe that's why we grandparents enjoy stopping to smell the roses more often - we're really aware of just how fleeting time is.
I detected a bit of harmony in that Happy Birthday rendition! I want that group to sing for me next year on MY birthday! We celebrated Ava's 2nd birthday yesterday, as well - and our little rendition sounded pretty bleak - but Ava was genuinely excited!!
