While Thrift Shopping...

I found a case with these nine spools. All for a mere 69 cents!

The spools are very small, wooden and have embossed letters. They look like they are from an old sewing kit. Of course, what else could I do but buy them? 69 cents for NINE.


After I brought them home, I remembered a pink depression glass bowl filled with shells. Oh, shells. I do love those, too. Since I never go to beaches with shells, I cannot remember where I got them, but, do they not look absolutely wonderful as accessories?

Shell shoes, shell hats, shell arms...

Now that I have twenty of them, I truly am going to have to decide exactly WHAT I am going to do with them.

Except, of course, look at them and get all swoony.
