Blue Castles

It snowed here today. I watched it fall from the warmth and comfort of Daughter's house.

Famke was amazed by it. Jonge enjoyed watching his swings and slide disappear under a white blanket.

At noon I turned on the news so I could watch the weather report, but that was preempted by President-elect Barak Obama. Jonge was not thrilled to watch the news. But we all three sat cuddled together on the couch as we were introduced to the new players who will attempt to bring order out of chaos. I'm not holding my breath.

Jonge was extremely excited to hear that President-elect Obama wants to put money into our pockets. He heard him say it.

With Jonge's money from Mr. Obama, he plans to buy a castle. No one knows how he even knows what a castle is, but he wants a blue one, and he wants it BAD.

To Jonge, Mr. Obama putting money in his pocket makes more sense than a fat guy in a red suit bringing him gifts down the chimney he does not have.

Twice in the afternoon, he checked his pockets for the money.

I checked mine, too.

I am fascinated by this - Jonge's interpretation is interesting to me but I agree with your analysis.
