Saturday Thrifting

Only one thrift store today.
January is a high gas bill month.
But, I did manage to spend only 75 cents today.
Two twenty-five cent books for the grandchildren and a teeny-tiny baggie of teeny-tiny wooden bits for me!
Remember these spool friends I made awhile ago?
I thought that little one on the left would remain the smallest.

But, in the teeny-tiny baggie of teeny-tiny bits I found an even smaller spool of thread. And, a matching small wooden bead.
I'll need to study the family dynamics before I draw on a face.
Oh. And I've also learned that although the shell feet were the absolute cutest, they did not hold up. So, it will be teeny-tiny button feet for this teeniest of tiniest spool friend.
Seriously.
I LOVE making these little things!
(hey. i might not get bored, but i DO get weirder and weirder.)

You come up with the most creative things I've ever seen with your little vignettes. I wish I had access to YOUR thrift stores...the old books, old music, and the low prices are amazing.
