Today, between errands, I glued thrifted pompoms to old sticks. Dark pink, light pink, and white..JPG)
They did not enjoy having their picture taken.
Seriously.
Gluing the pompoms to the sticks took hardly any time at all.
Finding a place to display them where they would show up in a picture?
I'll have to keep this idea in mind if I ever give a baby shower for a baby girl.
For now they are on the buffet in the dining room. There isn't anything pink in there, but I've grown tired of dragging them around all day.
I stuck them in antique baby bottles
Earlier this week I saw this idea on someone's blog. They used felted wool beads.
I made a felted wool bead, once. Just one. So I dug into my drawer of thrifted pompoms and improvised.
As is my habit, I'll have to live with these for awhile before I know if I like them or not.
I've lived with THGGM for 31 years so far, and I'd have to say, he is really starting to grow on me.
