Sinkhole 2010

Apparently, even though I did not turn off my reading light until 1:20, I missed the tornado sirens AND the storm that hit between 1:30 - 2:00 AM.

But when I woke up this morning and looked out the window, the sinkhole had returned.

I don't like it. Not one little bit. If it were in someone else's backyard I would find it interesting.

The yard man doesn't seem all that concerned.

Or, in his words, "We shall wait and see what happens after the storms go through tonight."

I slept through the warnings and the storm too. I'm staring to worry about myself!
What a strange thing that sink hole.

I can't tell you why really but I wouldn't like the sink hole either. Just strange that's all. I heard the storms but if we had a siren I didn't hear it. :)

Maybe you could plant a tree in the sink hole...or a big bush.
Take care,

They occur in my yard, but I know what caused them.
Old unused septic tanks.
Scarey...yes.
We fill them in with gravel, stone and large rocks.
