A Small Bubble of Creativity

I'm not sure where I've been lately. Not feeling like myself. Usually, that means I need to make stuff.
So today, when Famke and Kado were napping, Jonge and I made some more soap.
DiL-1 had given me a pair of Jello egg moulds a while ago. I saw them this morning when I was gathering up some dishes from the toy drawer for us to play with.
Hmm, I thought.
For a first attempt, I think they came out very cute! Jonge rubbed the Vaseline into the moulds and also added the essential oils. I cut, melted, dyed, and poured. The two of us are a good team.
The yellow ones smell mildly of lemon essential oil and the pinkish ones smell like "Thieves", which is a combination of a few oils, but to me smells like cloves - one of my favorite smells of all.
And, I feel better now. Kinda. Sorta.

Oh! Those are cute. And how fun to make them together like that.

Did you read my post about the woman I hate? I felt like I was channeling you while I wrote it because sometimes your sense of humor and mine are quite similar. :)

Thanks for sharing the soap! Blessings, Debra

I used to have those egg molds...I once used them for jello and my family thought they were gross. They don't hold back on giving their opinions!
I love the soap, can you share your recipe? I wonder if I still have those molds...they must be somewhere in my "collection"....
