Still more magnolia branches, so I made one for the guest room too.
The shade of blue seemed right.
Speaking of branches being down, just a few miles to the south of us HUGE trees were uprooted. Daughter and SiL lost power when it blew through, but thankfully they didn't sustain any significant damage. SiL plucked Famke out of her bed just to be safe. I'm SOOO glad he did. Trees not more than 1/4 mile from their house were sticking through windows. I haven't seen damage like this so close in YEARS.
But, we didn't even lose the usual branches.

Years back I had a purple magnolia tree in my front yard.
It was beeeee u ti ful!
Some type of borer hit it & we had to cut it down. :0(
