This is where I was last week.
My aunt and uncle's lovely home in Wisconsin.
For many, many years THGGM and I would drive down with my parents every October to visit with them for a few days.
Once, oh - I'd say about 30 some years ago - friends asked us why we wanted to spend our vacation time with 'old people'.
Apparently, the 'old people' in their family aren't as wonderful as those in mine!
And 30 years ago those 'old people' would be the age that THGGM and I are now.

Judy, this is the sweetest post. Your aunt and uncle look so kind and loving. How blessed you are.
I faithfully read your blog. You have the sweetest family and those grandchildren are adorable. I lead a boring life also and I love it that way. Have a great day!
No better kind of memory than those made with family. :0)
Judy,
I am not convinced that authentic preciousness runs in your DNA. Yep. That's all there is to it. I had many precious family members too. Due to a ten yr. gap in the age of my parents, and them both being the youngest, I find myself nearly without any remaining family. You are wise to cherish them while you have them.
You are a blessing. Thanks for sharing the joy!
Jen
Oh! My dream house. Another one, anyway. (Love it.) What sweet memories you have--you are blessed and so are your relatives. All of them! Blessings, Debra
