So simple, so inexpensive, and nothing to forget about on the stove.
Just purchase a small amount of Star Anise and put it in a bowl.
Then, enjoy the fantastic aroma.
Mine came from Penzey's, but I've gotten them at World Market also.
Even though they cost practically nothing, THGGM still questioned why I needed them.
NEED THEM? I don't NEED THEM.
I WANT THEM.
And for other reasons than just how great they smell.
The individual pods make the CUTEST EVER shoes for spool and pipe cleaner people. And as a bonus, they never have stinky feet.
And there you have my tip for the day.

Wearing a silly grin and wondering how I can and where I can hide it in my house. :0)
Hubby hates potpourri. Says it bothers his sinus'. :0(
Star anise is so pretty too! I find them at the health food store pretty cheap. I like the idea of using them for aroma therapy! (Pop them in steeping tea too!)
