Making Stuff

Yesterday I had the idea to try making my own bird pictures.

This was my first attempt.

I kinda/sorta/ like it.

Then I found some larger boards that just needed to be painted over, and made another.

Once the boards were painted, I just sketched the outline in pencil. Since I couldn't find any black paint, I used a large Papermate marker.

The only time involved was waiting for the paint on the boards to dry.

I was surprisingly delight with them.

Enter THGGM.

I never learn. I asked him if he liked them.

His response?

What are they?

Geesh.

What do you mean "what are they"?

Something I made.

I knew what they are! I envy your ability to "just sketch" a bird.

LOLOL!! Men! Can't live with 'em, can live with 'em. Ur, um, I mean, without 'em!!
Of course it's a bird. How kitschy they look next to the birdhouses. Perfection strikes again! I really like them.

It is obvious you are not living in Fryslan. In that case THGGM would have known you liked the painted board too, otherwise you would have cut out the birds before sticking them higher up to the windows. Because, of course they are ment to prevent birds flying through them, the birdsilhouet warns them for the invisible glass. Clever Judy, uninformed THGGM, please inform him and do make some just to cut out of dark board. Off item, I got stung by a wasp yesterday, twice, it got stuck in my sleeve. I looked up signs of allergy, luckily I did not have them, but please, look them up before you need them, I had to drive home first. I had a white bulb and red circle whitin minutes and the pain is just awfull. Your readers should do so too, it is scaring not knowing what is normal and what not, better be prepared and know what to do, especially with children around.
