Just Because

I took about one hundred pictures of grapes today.

Grapes photograph well.

These are Daughter's grapes and they are AMAZING!

She does not like them.

Of course, I also took about one hundred pictures of the little people too.

They also photograph well.

It is time for bed.

I'm reading Willa Cather's "My Antonia".

How did I get to be fifty-three without reading this book?

Have YOU read it?

Did you enjoy it?

(now i'm tired AND hungry for grapes.)

I absolutely LOVE Concord Grapes. Just looking at these, I begin to salivate. I first ate them off of the vine at my grandmother's house years and years ago. 7-8 years ago we lived in MI where our friends had vineyards - their livelihood.

I read My Antonia in high school. Don't remember a thing. Time for a re-read.

Love Concord grapes. Grew up eating them off the vine.
Maybe it's something you have to have grown up eating that makes you enjoy them so much.

Judy,
Last summer I read, 'O, Pioneers' and wondered how I got through college without having read it. (Literature minor) This year I read Cather's, 'Death Comes For The Archbishop' and found it equally riveting, though completely different.
I will add, 'My Antonia' to the list of must-reads. Thanks for the recommend.
Bee-U-tiful grape photo.
