Today

When it came right down to it, I couldn't make myself disassemble the other one of these that I made, so I just made another!

This time I used a jello mold for the base (not a mini) and used tea tins instead of soup cans.

It's impossible for me to make things like this line up correctly, so I didn't even try very hard.  The pie pans are a bit wonky due to age (much like me!) and I think I have too much moss in the top pie pan.

The fabric covering the tea tins worked nicely, but if I ever do it again (i'm guessing soon) I will wrap them in twine and cover them in buttons.

I'm thinking that these would make nice table centerpieces holding cupcakes.  For that I'd suggest using a narrower can, like maybe tomato paste and asparagus so the cupcakes would fit in better.

I LOVE asparagus cans, but not canned asparagus so I see none of those in my near future.

An Artists work in never done.
When ever my 4 year grand daughter comes over...she says "Grandma, lets do a craft"...which we usually do.
My mother is very crafty...always has been...I guess I "caught" the "bug" from her. I enjoy making something out of nothing. 8~)
Take care,
Nancy
P.S. word verification can get very tricky. LOL
