Today was the last day I had to make lunch for a kindergartner by 11:00 am.
Next year both Jonge and Famke will go to school ALL DAY.
So, on this, the LAST lunch before summer vacation, we had home made macaroni and cheese and green beans. EVERYBODY'S favorite!
Then Kado took a four hour nap. Oh, my.
Famke and I made paper dolls. She made a paper doll of herself.
Of course, I made paper dolls too. Although Famke insists that they are of my sisters and me, the are NOT.
Some food coloring appeared and we spent some time mixing up crazy colors.
Tomorrow Jonge graduates from kindergarten.
Time, it flies.

What a fun day by the looks of the photos! Why is it M & C and green beans is such a favorite with kids?! My two kids used to love Grandma's home-canned green beans with their M & C especially, or mixed in mashed potatoes with a ton of melted butter.
You guys sure know how to have fun, you have the best ideas! Yes, yes time is flying. I remember a soap I used to watch with my g-grandma, "Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives" so true!!!
