These Things Should Not Be

Yesterday my sister and I visited two thrift stores and The Olive Garden.

It was lovely.

I've put a few of my finds on my Simply Thrift blog (www.simplythrift.blogspot.com).  This is one of the things that I found.   Can't wait to find the perfect place for it.  I've tried out several today, but I'm just not sure.  How could someone get rid of this?!

Dear Judy, have you considered the one who embroidered this did not finish it in time and concluded it would not be appreciated when given as a belated gift? ome people have issues and the one who gave this to the thriftshop might have concluded the recepient was no linger worthy of this gift. If the recepient gave it away, he/she was certainly not worthy of it or just sized won very much in livingspace, maybe a home for the elderly? Enjoy it and be happy they thriftshopped it and did not feed the dustbin with it.52 ityhao

Judy, I often wonder that very same thing when I see what I think of as precious family keepsakes made my mothers, aunties or grandmothers. It has a wonderful home now and it is truly precious.
