My Bob the Builders

Dear Judy, at seeing your Bob the Builders I suddenly remembered what in English spekaking countries probably is calle: "Potatoe Jack". It is a container with thumbtack like pins mounted on noses, moiustaches, beards, eyes, ears etc. I remember having much fun, sticking these to baby smooth and very wrinkled potatoes. If you do not own it look for it at thriftstores, not to be played with under the age of 3! Also, my mum made them herself, much cheaper, Mr. Wheatman (or rye or cress). These are coarse linen sacks about a pound containers, filled with sawdust, before closing the sack you sow a bit of a fast growing corn, barley, rye etc. You can give Mr. Wheatman a face with unsoluble ink or the pins of Potatoe Jack. The sawdustbag has to be placed on a saucer kept filled with a little water. I perchased these past weeks something on my wishlist: Jet leert Sien breien, meaning Jet teaches Sien to knit. Two grils sitting on a wooden gardenbench krniiting socks while a cat plays with the woolball. I bought a Chinese made fridgemagnet (you can see it because of the eyes where it is made, a little pinscratching made them look Dutch in a second) and a small melanine servingtray with the picture, it holds one cup and one cake nicely when going up the stairs (I need to hold the stairguide of wood to keep my balande, due to my small limatation.). They are from the series schoolbooks "Nog bij moeder" from Scheepstra en Jetses, you can google them. Have a nice weekend, I enjoyed "my" chosen grandchildren from faraway's pictures with delight.
