Sleep Over!

Tonight is sleep-over night for the big kids.  Jonge and Famke got to help Uncle Oldest Son make homemade vanilla ice cream.  There were also many things to be smashed the old fashioned way.  Like Oreo  cookies and blanched peanuts.  These two are EXCELLENT helpers.  The evening ended with the reading of "Goodnight Richard Rabbit".

Just beautiful!
You know I'm lovin' the Uncle involvement and the homemade (free of chemicals, wax, and weird names of stuff we don't even recognize!) ice cream. The toppings take this project from downright enjoyable on over into 'perfection'.
I'm liking the fruit in the crock..and the red chair in background...
most of all the wholesome innocence on the faces of Jonge and Famke.
Good night. We are wealthy in the most important of ways!

Take extra good care,
Jen

Sounds like a wonderful time. Those children are abundantly blessed as are you and your family. Your sister and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. Praying she is doing ok. That is about as good as one can do at times like that. Take care and God bless!
