Wow. Friday? What happened to those other days?
I'm not sure.
I do recall spending a morning trying to make pom-poms on a fork.
They did not turn out round. So I have a bunch of pom-poms hanging from branches. Might look cute if they didn't look so much like jumbo marshmallows. Thinking of the time and mess I could have saved had I just hung marshmallows on the branches makes me kind of angry.
Hertsje came for awhile this afternoon. That is always fun. She is a fun, and FUNNY little girl.
We played with blocks, cars, dolls, bottles, tea tins, and we clapped. A lot.
But when all the fun went out of those things, we took to the front window to watch the snow fall and the traffic go by.
She knows that when we do this, it won't be long before either Pake or daddy will walk in the door, so she waits and watches with great expectation.
There really wasn't much happening out the window today. Yesterday we watched an ambulance, firetruck, and a few police cars speed by.
Today the traffic was slim and slow moving.
So we just watched, and talked about life.
Sometime this month she will find out if she is going to have a baby brother or a baby sister. It's difficult to tell with her if she is excited about this, or just excited about life in general.
I'm hoping to step out for a moment tomorrow. If I see my shadow, I shall hibernate for six more weeks. If I don't see my shadow, I will hibernate for a half dozen weeks.
Either way, I'm hibernating until spring.

Yep. You are blessed. I'd hibernate, too.
She has the sweetest little face. Love those blue eyes. Hibernating sounds good to me. It is so cold here. I shouldn't complain, it could be worse. We have snow again so I guess I will be outside some today cleaning the driveway.
Enjoy your getting out.
In our country we say: with medicine a cold lastes a week, withoud seven days, go hibernate for 42 more days, then you will be on the safe side and near Easter. You did well making pompoms instead of hanging marshmallows from the branches (you meant outdoors, didnt you?) What are you thinking of, giving the squirrels and birds marshmallows, they might get diabecis ;-) DM
She is darling - love the last photo.
