What I Take Pictures Of

Grandchildren.

This is the very cute Broeder, probably wondering just what kind of a crazy family he was born into.

Yesterday I got to see him smile for the first time.  Well, not the first time he smiled, as he is a very content little boy.  But it was the first time I saw him smile, and it was amazing!
Flowers.

Even if they are considered by most to be weeds, I adore them.

This is also a very favorite color combination of mine -
white, green, and brown.
 Grapes.

To me, grapes just look like they are hanging around WAITING to have their picture taken.  And I love this shade of green.

These turned out very nicely in sepia tones also, so they may make an appearance again sometime soon.

Hopefully, I'll get some pictures of these in the fall also.
Cooks.

Daughter and DiL1 are roasting summer squash on the grill.

They also roasted corn on the cob still in the husks.

Both were amazing.

Both women are amazing too.
Tomatoes.

This tomato is very small.

Jonge brought it to me for me to eat, freshly picked.

But were I to have eaten it, what would I have to do while seated at the table?

So, since I had already eaten a half dozen tomatoes at lunch, I opted to photograph this one instead.

I also like taking pictures of shadows.

This works best if one does not use a flash.
Dogs.

This is blue-eyed Bethy.

She is very entertaining, cute, and photogenic!

I have tomatoes coming out of my ears from my garden! I've given them to everyone I know. I just recently found out you can freeze them, that never even occurred to me but I'm glad to know it. That is a great pic of the dog, the eye and the harness just pop out!

He's sure a Tiny One - Little Broeder.
I can see you've had bunches of fun lately. So have we.

You do a great job with sepia tones, by the way.
