A Week Ago Today

Has it already been a week?

Yes.  It has.

Last week Saturday morning we got up early and headed to Wisconsin for a wedding!

It truly was lovely.  The wedding took place at a very old church in Kenosha.

Although I was very tempted to, I did not bring my camera to the wedding.

Since I did not, you will have to trust me when I tell you that the Tiffany stained glass windows were truly spectacular.

But not as beautiful as the bride.

The reception venue was gorgeous also.  The grooms father made the unique cup cake stand.

It was also my sister's birthday!

Although I took two hundred pictures, not too many of them came out well.

The reception was at the Polish Center in Franklin.

This picture is of my uncle and his sister, who travel with her family from Michigan to Wisconsin.

A 'thank you' gift of music from the bride and groom.
This picture is of my aunt and her youngest grand daughter.  Two beauties!
The  bride and groom!

I love the reflection of my sister in the mirror!
The  cup cakes were made by a friend of the bride.  They were delicious!

THGGM talking to the father of the bride.
The bride, dancing with her father.

Sorry that the commentary on these pictures is so dull.  I cannot begin to tell you just how many times these pictutes and comments have disappeared while I was writing this.  Either blogger is really acting up, or I have lost the blogging touch!  Could be either.  Trust me when I tell you that this was a truly beautiful wedding and I am SO happy we were able to attend!

I trust you :)
It really is about impossible to capture the beauty of family with or without a camera. Even a good one! So much escapes the lens...

You did a great job of capturing the main ideas.
It does look like a lovely affair.

Love weddings!
