40th Anniversary Celebration!

Our kids took us out for dinner to Bonefish Grill

It was LOVELY!

Feintsje thought he might starve waiting for his food, but then they brought out amazing bread (he didn't care for the appetizer) and all was well.

And joy of joys!  You could color right on the table!

Two different kinds of shrimp appetizers. 

Jonge, who at the age of 12, looks much older than he is.

They have all grown so much, it's just not as evident when one of them has gotten VERY tall.

Funny, how THGGM and I could not have dreamed up any of this 40 years ago. 

Then, we didn't know ANY of these lovely humans who have become our family.  We only knew each other.

I should have taken pictures of our main courses and desserts. It was all very good!  EVERYONE had a wonderful time.

Some of us even ended the beautiful evening with a sunset swim.

Broeder has some pool skills!

Uncle Youngest Son was smoking a cigar.  Kado was APPALLED. 

A good time was had by all.
Really.

I love these people we didn't even know 40 years ago!
