Volleyball Season

Today was the second to the last game in Famke's middle school volleyball season.

There are three grand kids in this picture, can you find them?

Here's a clue, Famke is number 42.
This team plays really well together, which is obvious as they are undefeated!
Tonight though, the other team had to travel an hour, and only had six players.
Those kinds of wins are not as satisfying as the hard-fought ones.
Famke is really enjoying this!
For almost all of her life she has spent evenings and weekends at one or another brother's sporting events.
This season it has been her turn.
THGGM and I are enjoying this more than we can even express.

If you think we are proud of her, we are!
She's worked hard, and it shows.
Jonge is one of the flag men.
During a time out he does his own little performances.  🙂
This is Famke's 'official' position.
Although I have no idea what that means, as they rotate.
So many of the rules have changed since Daughter play high school volleyball.
We've all had to get used to the scoring.

She's not a bit ball shy.
Why would she be?
Her entire life has been filled with a plethora of brothers throwing balls around.
Her serve is strong too.
I've tried to post a video of that, but for some reason Blogger won't let me.
