Woods for me,

Beach for him!

Flowers in the sand for me.

Notice the closeness of the beach to the woods.
Oh, what a lovely vacation!
This is the very beautiful Mission peninsula on Memorial Day weekend.
A deserted public beach on Grand Traverse Bay.
It was 91 degrees on our car thermometer when we began driving out on the peninsula. At this beach, it read 61 degrees.
I just CANNOT understand why no one else was there.
Not that I minded!

Isn't it nice to have such a beautiful place to yourself? ONCE and ONLY ONCE when we lived in Hawaii did we happenchance on the beach and were the ONLY ones there...a great memory!
