While that title sounds as if it could be profound, it really isn't going to be in this post!
My furniture is all over the place in the living room, in the probable event that a new rug will be laid in here tonight.
Good-bye pink carpet! I will not miss you. Nope.
This rearrangement of sorts (we thought it would be here last night) means that my couch is now more or less facing OUT of the front window.
Yesterday, I watched all those kids parading back to school.
Today, it is SO foggy that at times all I can see is the neon sign of the coffee house. A red and green neon sign suspended in space.
It is SO unbelievably STILL outside that it is a bit freaky.

It's the first day of school here in Portland...I thought it was yesterday, but that ended up being a Teachers' Planning Day. No fog here...beautiful blue skies and tons of sunshine. I am blessed! Once I help Dear Hubby get packed up for his hunting trip to the coast -- he'll be home around 11 -- I am spending ANOTHER day sitting out on the porch rocking chair and reading. Some things never change...some things never get done. This is MY vacation too! :-)
Will look forward to your photos of the "new" look!!
