We had "Trick or Treaters" tonight!
And, not just ones we knew!
'Mehitabel' came back and brought Tigger and this really happy guy with her.
Tigger liked the Dora the Explorer cookies grandpa gave to him!
My brother-in-law brought a pumpkin from his garden for Baby Boy.
My brother-in-law brought a pumpkin from his garden for Baby Boy.
Daughter carved it.
Baby Boy seemed thrilled with all of the activities!
I thought maybe seeing his mommy with funny make-up on he might freak out a little.
One set of our 'trick or treaters' was a pair of highschool guys who came to the door and sang "Don't Worry, Be Happy!"
They didn't have bags for candy, either. Just sang, and left.
As you can see, we enjoyed it!

I like your "don't worry, be happy" be happy guys - definitely treaters. In 91, I was a freshman in college. It was the year of a record blizzard on Halloween. I decided that night that it would be fun to dress-up in Halloween costumes and the go door to door singing Christmas Carols so we did...it confused a lot of people.
1. love the door. we had doors like that in our prior house (built 1888)... sigh. Now we live in one of the older homes in a younger town. That makes it not nearly old enough for my tastes... but its a happy home!
2. Love that singing thing. Much better than the kids who DRIVE from house to house begging for candy. "Get a JOB!!" is what I usually want to shout!
Trick or treaters not looking for candy? I don't think I have ever come across that before. That's so wonderful!
Very cute! Maddie had Tigger pajamas that looked like that, and now that I see Baby Boy it makes me nostalgic for the little girl who's not so little anymore.
He looks awfully cute!
Awww, thanks!
I was surprised by the singing 'treaters' it truly WAS a treat!
Loved the pictures of your Halloween...looks like a fun time was had by all! :) Tom and I handed out candy and enjoyed it... we love seeing the little guys and girls best... This year more than ever, the older girls wished us a happy halloween, the way you would wish someone a merry Christmas. I thought that was sweet! Blessings, Debra
