Daughter isn't exactly sure what has happened, but Baby Boy has been UNBELIEVABLY happy lately! He does appear to be getting his two top front teeth, so that may be part of it.
And, he is enjoying many more solid foods, and nothing seems to be bothering him as far as that goes.
The picture on the right is of him waking up from his after church nap with Grandpa yesterday.
Today, he was so happy even I could hardly contain myself.
In the picture on the left, he has just completed the task of washing both of his feet with a baby wipe.
What compelled him to do this, I do not know. He painstakingly worked that baby wipe in between his toes! He had such a serious look on his face, it was just SO funny.
Then, when he was all done, he screamed with joy!
I am just having too much fun being a Grandma.
Oh. And I think I know what 'bum bum ferse' means.
I'm 'bum bum'.
Today, Daughter had him at the window, the same one he had been looking out of when he was repeating it. She said to him, 'Where's bum bum?' and he turned around and pointed at me.
'Ferse' seems to be baby dialect for 'this'.
So, translated, 'bum bum ferse' means "Grandma! This!" At least that is what it meant last Thursday. Seems he wanted me to run across the street and get him the American flag that was whipping around in the wind.

Ah, Judy, it brings me such joy to read about how much you love your grandson! What a lucky (and TOTALLY ADORABLE) little guy he is.
:)
I think "bum bum" is an adorable name.
I am totally smitten by this kid.
My kids were little darlings too, but I was so busy it was hard to enjoy every minute of it.
This time around, I'm taking my time!
