I bought it at a thrift store three years ago.
I used it for 'puppy training' my darling granddog.
He never did learn to not jump up on me, hence the many catches.

Instead of buttons, it has funky hooks, but is missing one.
I don't know "Grace", but if she actually did take the time to exclusively style this I am sure she would have been horrified to see what this poor sweater has been through.

Sadly, my granddog died very unexpectedly in April. but, I cannot bring myself to get rid of the ugly sweater!
Joyce is having an 'Ugly Sweater' party at her house tonight. I will not be there, as Joyce lives in Winnipeg.
So in honor of Joyce's birthday, I present as requested, my Ugly Sweater.
I'll be wearing it tonight.

OH! you sweet thing!
That gave me what I needed to slog through the rest of my work day until I can pour myself into a sweater... er... pour myself a drink.
Your prize awaits....
thanks to "Grace", may God bless her anyway.
OH! Thank you!
I LOVE the pink - you were so kind to remember!
(three exclamation points. i just cannot sound happy without them.)
Oh my goodness...I can so relate to the state of clothes after going through puppy training in them. Only with our dog, entire garmets have been ruined, including my lambskin leather jacket, two of my husbands shirts and just recently he chewed the corner of my bombay red velvet quilt. :(
Grand poopy training and/or grandson training...I tell ya, the majority of my clothes will never look the same. I have a sweater or two myself, haha! I went over to Joyce's blog for the first time this evening...what a treat! I hardly ever have time to go cruising other blogs any more, but every now and then it's worth the effort when I do!
Oh you are funny. I don't have any sweaters to show as I don't wear them anymore as I am always hot (I sound menopausal) so I kept about four that I love and they are very conservative and bland...
I actually really like your "ugly" sweater, and LOVE the button/hook things.
I doubt that you would have managed to wear it home, had you made it to Joyce's ugly sweater party.
My ugly sweater made it home, but my glittery gold evening jacket, which I bought to put on when wearing a sweater just was too HOT, ended up in the great recycling bin of Joyce's house. Somehow all of the big gold buttons had been ripped off in the course of the evening......
I enjoy your site.
