Friday

Today my mom, sisters and I went to the Meijer Gardens to see the Christmas trees of the world.
It was simply gorgeous. We all had a wonderful time!
Now, I'm off to a wedding. Daughter's friend since pre-school and former neighbor - the 'girl nextdoor' - Cindy, is getting married tonight and Daughter is in the wedding!
(seriously. i'm starting to long for my boring life. where is it?)

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Judy! Dear Hubby surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of lilies and roses this afternoon -- no wonder I still love the man, eh? I always wondered what it would be like to have sisters...I grew up with 3 brothers and was SUCH a tomboy, lol! How do you rank...the oldest, middle, or youngest? I'm next-to-the-youngest. Hope you have a safe and Happy New Year's holiday, my friend!

I'm the baby. My sisters are 6 and 8 years older than I am.

Youngest Son pointed out to me when he was younger, 'isn't it funny how you used to be the little sister and now your the BIG sister?'

Really funny.
