Today I spent my time sorting and purging things at home. I thought that I might have some sort of 'roll' going having just participated in this kind of activity at my parent's condo. But, no. Sorting one's own things is harder. Our bedroom is in much better order now. The kitchen has a bookcase for cookbooks (hmmm. do i cook?) and the books I took from that book shelf are now finding new homes in various places around my house and to a thrift store near me. Soon. That is, if I don't change my mind over night.
Speaking of night..,
I had a strange dream again the other night. I dreamed I was at a social event (do recall, i do not like social events). It was one for which I was required to dress up. But the odd thing was I had my 'big doll' with me. It was dressed in the dress Famke wore to her aunt's wedding. Everywhere I went, the big doll went with me. Most of my night was spent trying to balance a plate of food while I stood holding a big doll dressed in formal wear. And, I had to introduce her to people. It was just sooo very weird.
When I woke up I remembered that I had watched "Harvey" (with Jimmy Stewart) the day before.
It isn't often that I remember my dreams. That's probably not such a bad thing afterall.

My dream life is usually far more fascinating than my real life. And I DETEST social gatherings, too. Even if I know all the people. It's too much effort any more to switch my brain from 'toddler talk' to adult talk. And, in all honesty...I find toddler talk to be SOOOOOOO much more interesting. And real. AND honest.
We won't touch what my dreams are like when I remember them. Oh wait there is one cool thing. I used to have falling dreams until I learned how to fly. Once I learned how to fly things got better especially when I became a better flyer. Now I scoff at danger (in my dreams).
Hmmmm. I wonder if you have a doll in a wedding dress for the same reason that I have a little red haired boy following me everywhere I go....
oooooh, last night I was trying to get ready to be a bridesmaid (sans dress, make up, blow dryer, etc) when I realized I still had TWENTY FIVE preschoolers in tow.
I won't even try to analyze that dream! At least big doll looked pretty!
I'm in purging state of mind for my own home..trouble is, it hasn't reached my body yet.
LOL
