I would like to indroduce you to Zeke.
He joined our family today by way of Daughter-in-law2's younger brother, who goes away to college tomorrow.
He is a Lhasa Apso, and three years old, just like Famke.
It's been 10 months since we've had a pet.
The time is right.
We already love him.

My first comment appears to have gone off into cyberspace. :0(
Zeke looks like a bundle of love.

Are you dog sitting or adopting?
What do the grands think of Zeke?
Mine always thought they were perpetual puppies.
What a fun addition to your family. Congratulations to all. Zeke is a lucky dog.
What a sweet doggie!
Enjoy!

I know exactly what you mean about loving him already. Our beloved Chloe Dog is a Lhasa and it still grieves me we had to give her to our d-i-l's mother in Texas. They do have a tendency to be jealous of little ones, just to forewarn you, especially once he establishes your home as his 'territory'. But Lhasas are the BEST...they don't shed and they don't have dander, either, so you won't spend your life vacuuming up after him. He has an underbite like 'our' other Lhasa that the kids still have, ol' Max. Darling!!!!!!!!
Oh, he looks like my Emily, a Lhasa Apso we had from the time she was eight weeks old until she was 17 3/4 years old. We lost her in June, and she was a wonderful dog. Numerous people in my family have Lhasas and they are great pets.
