Although Pake received three beautiful handmade birthday greetings, this one proved to be the one with the most ink on the paper and the least on the maker!
Pake had a wonderful time turning 52 years old. He and I went out for dinner, followed by the entire family coming over for birthday dessert. Daughter made FABULOUS German chocolate cookies from the current issue of Taste of Home. Since we were also celebrating Daughter's birthday, THGGM and I combined our efforts and made Buster-Bar dessert.
I've been in such a dreadful mood all day. And I know exactly why. I ate this stuff. Big no-no for me. BIG.
Anyway.., THGGM enjoyed all of it! And soon he will be happily spending birthday gift cards at Younkers.
