Lunch with Mommy

Today we had bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, and apples.

Kado had just woke up from his nap and was very sad that mommy had to go back to work. Usually he just gives a wave and says "Bye bye mama". But today he had more things he wanted to say to her.

But he got over it. Quickly.
Today I discovered too late to do anything about it that the gallon of milk in my fridge had expired yesterday. It smelled just a tad funky.
Kado seemed to greatly enjoy his nice warm bottle of Half and Half.
Who wouldn't?

Your pictures are so candid and capture life with such truth and delicacy.
Is there anything as accute as being separate from your mom when you didn't want to be?
I think I need a bottle of warm half and half. Oh Yeah!!!

I love these pictures, the secure knowledge that momma will be back on one child and the "I want more of you right now" on the baby. So sweet.
