Don't Fence Me In. WAIT. DO Fence me in!

Someday I'll get a picture in GOOD light of the other side of this charm.

But this side pretty much sums up the weekend.

I won this charm from the Flea Market Style blog.

Today, on this HOT 85 degree day, I took my Flea Market Style magazines out into the yard.

I didn't last long, due to the lingering effects of a very nasty migraine.

I do not like having migraines.

And while we are talking about what I don't like, I also don't like diabetes. Just when I think I have it all figured out, SOMETHING changes that is outside of my control and everything goes all wonky again.

But, you know me, not one to complain!

I am happily looking forward to the day when we will FINALLY be able to fence in our yard. We have been working towards this since the day we moved in - so, three and 3/4 years! Opening the back door to the grand kids and the dog seems like such a simple little joy, but it has been a looooonging of mine for what seems like a very looooong time, and soon it may happen.

Simple pleasures are the best. At least for a simple person like me.

How funny, we just ordered our fence yesterday!! I once read a study about school kids and boundaries, The children played to very edge of the school grounds when there was a fence in place as they knew where the "stop" point was. The study leader took the fence away and the children all played very close to classrooms and stayed far away from the edges as their visual safety boundary was gone. We all need boundaries to feel safe and secure.

Yes, a fence will be great for the grands and the dog. Have a wonderful, feeling great day!
