More Birthday Recollections

In the afternoon, we continued to read on the porch. I read my new birthday book - which is FULL of wisdom, stories, and games.

Jonge and Famke had never played Simon Says. One of them was VERY good at it. One of them was not. Even I was surprised by this, because the one who was was the one who one would have thought wouldn't have been the one who was.

There were also some very unique songs that were composed and sung. In this picture, Famke is singing "I Hope My Dad Is Good".

The book "Pajama Time" was read so many times. Sooo many times. May author Sandra Boynton be richly blessed for writing books that are pleasing to read hundreds of times a day.

There was also the cutest little bee that buzzed around me all afternoon. Although sometimes he appeared as a lady bug and at other times a butterfly, but always, he buzzed.

As per usual, the game of "dad and mom" was played. Sometimes they vary it and are Uncle David and Jessica.

And, there were hugs and kisses. LOTS of hugs and kisses!

Delightful!! Every little bit of it....

I agree - we love Sandra Boynton.

Have you ever listened to her albums? They are wonderful - if you haven't, you should.

I hope you'll record some of those songs! They would be such fun to revisit one day.

Does "Dad and Mom" play by similar rules to "Uncle David and Jessica"?

Just wondering....

Cute, Cute! Is Jonge that much taller than Famke? In the picture of them standing, he looks so tall. Beppe's house looks like so much fun!
