Wow. We woke up to a spectacular Wednesday morning. Swimming before breakfast was what everyone wanted to do! Of course, they swam in the pool. After swimming we went out for breakfast and then drove up the east side of the Leelanau Peninsula. If you are not from Michigan, you may not know that the Leelanau Peninsula is lower Michigan's little finger. Now you know. It is beautiful there.
Our first stop was Suttons Bay. I was hoping we would see the brown sailed ship, but it wasn't visible.
Jonge had a great time jumping over the tide pools left from all the rain on Tuesday. Famke isn't quite such a morning person as her brother.
Our next stop was Northport. There seems to be more to do in Northport every time we stop there.
Being on vacation and all that, we stopped for doughnuts!
And then had to walk off those doughnuts by meandering down to the harbor.
