The tree makes a lovely backdrop, letting other decor pop a bit more.
I also didn't fill the usual cabinet with the usual scenes.
It's not in a place that is visible to me now, so I placed this part of it in front of the tree. Skaters got to skate!
Some of this I set out while considering what to do with it. Instead, I decided it looked good enough right where it landed.
For this, I got out a small suitcase and moved around some toys that were in odd and sundry places.
I won't be in any hurry to take any of it down, even though Christmas Day has come and gone. Today is only day 2 of the twelve days of Christmas, so nothing is going anywhere. Chances are I shall be posting even more bits and pieces.
As I like to say, To Epiphany, and BEYOND!

I am so glad to see your blogs again.Your home looks so cozy and comfy. Were you able to be with your family for Christmas? Our children 3 out of 4 live out of state, so because of Covid, we were alone. Sure not the same!
Mitzi, ours was not the same either, but we all did our very best to have a great day!
