Life Marches On

Jonge, who is now a high school freshman, attends West Michigan Aviation Academy. 

In his first month of school, he wrote an essay that won him a flight.

Then Covid lockdowns happened so it was rescheduled. 

Then poor weather conditions happened, and it was yet again delayed.

But on Thursday, it finally happened!

He is the one on the far left in the picture, headed to the Cessna that is owned by the school.

It was a bit cloudy, but the view over Grand Rapids was clear.

He actually did get to fly! 

The experience was something he totally enjoyed. Not sure if he's come down from the clouds completely yet, or not.
