A Big Long Long Meme

Ever thought of just picking up and moving far away? - NO!!!! I am NEVER moving again.

What's the wallpaper on your computer? - A dead fish.

What is the last thing/person you took a picture of? - My Dutch stuff in a cabinet.

What was the most difficult decision you've ever had to make? - I cannot think of a thing.

Name a band/artist you like that isn't popular. - John Denver - or is he popular? I will always love him for "Grandma's Feather Bed".

Can you lift your significant other? - Sometimes I can lift his spirits, but not the six foot two part of him.

What is the first vehicle you recall your parents owning? - A Buick of some sort. When Buick's still had those egg-cuppy things on the sides.

You only have $5 for the whole week; What do you buy with it? - $5? Wow! I can get quite a bit with that at my local thrift store. Books. Probably children's books.

What was the worst job you ever had? - I've never had a really bad job. My least favorite was working at Roger's Department Store. It was dreadfully boring.

Have you ever seen counterfeit money? - I don't think so.

Have you ever lost a pet you were attached to? - Yes. Too many to mention. I still haven't gotten over the loss of Daughter's dog, Max. I miss him everyday, and he wasn't even mine.

You're at an amusement park; What ride do you want to go on first? - How did I get to an amusement park? Yuck. But, I do like the Logger's Run at Michigan's Adventure. Could ride that one ALL day. HAVE ridden that one all day.

You can read minds; Whose mind do you snoop around in first? - My new grand daughter's. I've always wanted to know what a baby is thinking.

What was the most rebellious thing you've ever done? - Rebellious? Me? I quit dotting the letter "i". Still cross the letter "t" though.

Do you ever talk to inanimate objects? - Yes. Frequently.

Pick one; Laundry, Dishes, Vacuuming. - I love to vacuum. THGGM loves to do laundry. The dishes tend to pile up.

Have you ever had to change schools while growing up? - No. I went to the same school system K-12.

You are forced to go out of state; Where do you go? - I would go to Wisconsin. But, let me say it again. I am NEVER going to move again. NEVER.

Name the most meaningful thing a non-relative has done for you. - A friend of mine took me to Gulf Shores, AL with her for ten days. Ten days. It was woooonderfuuuuully relaxing. I'll NEVER forget it.

The highway or back roads take you to the same place; Choose your route. - Back roads there, highway back.

You're going to be a mom/dad. What do you think/do? - Now? At the age of 49? I'd have a lot of 'splainin' to do to THGGM.

Are you more likely to give up or persist when you're having trouble? - That depends. Am I tired?

What's the most challenging thing you've ever over come? - Agoraphobia. Although, I haven't 'over come' yet.

Your best friend needs a kidney to survive; Do you give them one of yours? - I do not think they would want a diabetic kidney. Although, they do both work very well.

Your brother breaks into your house; Do you press charges? - I do not have a brother. But, if anyone broke into my house I would press charges.

Name a big life event that has taken place for you within the last two years. - I've become a grandma! Twice!

Do you end up regretting things you say often? - What do I say often?

Would you rather have a huge cat or a tiny dog? - I have a huge cat. THGGM wants a tiny dog.

Pringles or Lay's Stax? - Bleeeeeech.

Name one difficult lesson you've learned. - Never try to homeschool a kid who does not want to be homeschooled.

Name one thing you look forward to in old age. - Great Grandchildren. I'm never satisfied.

Do you use your hands when you talk to emphasize what you are saying? - Thanks to "Signing Time" I use my hands all the time when I talk. Besides that, I'm Dutch and we tend to do that a
lot.

You own a huge business; What is it? - "Judy's Old Book Emporium and Assorted Other Junk". It's at my house.

Are you afraid to ask for help when you know that you need it? - Yes.

Should adoptive kids be allowed to find their birth parents if they want to? - I don't know. THGGM thought of officially finding his biological father. But, then his biological father died.

Name somebody you think died before their time. - My brother-in-law. He was the age I am now.

A friend is (rightly) suspected in a crime; Do you provide an alibi? - No. That would make me a criminal. THGGM was just on a jury for a case like this.

Name the possession you've had the longest. - A necklace of a Dutchman my grandpa brought back from a trip to The Netherlands. At least I THINK I still have it. In a box in the garage...

You're writing a novel; Is it horror, mystery, romance, etc. - It's hysterical fiction.

You have a deep dark secret; Do you tell anyone? - No.

Will you usually admit it when you've made a mistake? - Yes. I'm not finding that so difficult anymore. Making mistakes is a daily occurrence.

A friend of yours has a drug addiction; Do you tell someone? - Only if it was someone who would help. I would not just 'tell someone' for the sake of telling someone.

So few people commented on this...one, I think?...when I did it I didn't think anyone read it, haha! But YOU did...and I loved your answers. I posted a "photo" of new grandbaby-to-be...come see!
