I know. I know. I say it ALL THE TIME. But I L.O.V.E. this magazine!
All this week I have been sick with whatever it is that is going around. And around. And around again.
I should not be complaining. Jonge has it REALLY bad. His has gone into a very painful ear infection which caused him to vomit. My ear only hurt one night and although I am very dizzy there has been no vomiting for me.
So, what have I been doing when I've not been hugging ill grandchildren?
Yes, it is pricey, and yes, I am poor. BUT. It only comes out four times a year so that brings the price to $5.00 a month. And with my 15% Barnes and Noble card I kinda/sorta feel that I am worth it.
Because once I have this magazine in my chubby greedy hand, I already possess the things I need to experiment with the lovely ideas inside!
Look at those lovelies to your left.
See?
I kid you not.
And, I already HAVE plenty of those. Along with old ledgers, old books, bit'o this and that and even the bees wax!
Oh, my.
And I even have a room in the basement where I can putter around unhindered by that voice behind me saying...
..."were you planning to clean this up any time soon?"
No. I was not.
But now I don't have to!
And just so you know how sick I've been (please send pity. okay. well don't then.) - Easter was on Sunday. It is now Friday. I have not been to a thrift or antique store yet.
I'm thinking that maybe, just MAYBE, when THGGM gets out of work we will go out for dinner and then on to our favorite thrift stores. He gets out at 2:00 today.
I remain ever hopefully yours, Judy

So sorry for Jonge!! Ear infections are lousy...
I've seen those tp roll projects around and have been saving rolls with the intention of making some - I bet you beat me...
I sure hope you feel better soon. My husband and I venture out every Friday to yard sales, auctions, thrift stores, etc. Cheap fun.
Judy, I sure hope you got the chance to go out with your hubby. Also hope you get over your crud real soon. No fun being sick.
I hope you are better by now and got to go to the thrift stores. I hope the little one is better too.
