Interesting Thrift Find

I've dropped about two sizes in clothing, so lately most of my thrift finds have been clothes, and yesterday was no exception. I found three pairs of capris, a pair of denim shorts, and a shirt.
But I also found a few small interesting things, and this baby spoon was one of them!
Can you make out what it says?
If not, I will tell you!
It is a birth record spoon for a baby girl named Susan, born on the 16th of June, 1950, at 5:00 PM.
I collect baby spoons, and besides my own Gerber baby spoon, this is my new favorite!
It cost a dollar.
Can you believe it?
I cannot imagine why someone would no longer want this keepsake.
I wonder if Susan ever wonders what happened to it?

Lady! I want to comment about that weight loss! Assuming it was intentional, I want to congratulate you. That doesn't happen easily. Makes thrift store shopping even more fun, doesn't it!?
